Editorial methodology / 18 October 2026
A thesis you can check.
Sources, boundaries, arithmetic and the evidence that could change a conclusion.
Evidence before interpretation
Financial filings and results establish disclosed figures for a defined period. Official product pages establish what a supplier describes or offers; they do not independently prove customer economics. Editorial mappings, risks and questions are labelled as analysis.
Coverage
The first database release contains seven selected companies. Inclusion is editorial, not a completeness claim, recommendation or commercial endorsement. Historical financial snapshots carry their fiscal periods. Missing figures mean the reviewed source did not establish them; they do not imply zero revenue or no disclosure anywhere.
Calculations and comparisons
Keep original currency, period and segment boundary. Do not compare absolute revenue across currencies as a ranking. Ratios show their inputs. Illustrative scenarios are labelled and excluded from company financial records. Adjacent suppliers and procurement alternatives are not automatically direct competitors.
Review and corrections
Each dossier links a primary source and a review date. This edition is manually curated; it is not a live financial feed. Product pages can change. A review date is not a guarantee that every company disclosure has been collected. Corrections should identify the page, disputed statement and replacement primary evidence.
Membership
Database dossiers, this report and public comparisons are free in this release. The existing €5 monthly shared reading-room membership continues to offer the research workbook and member content described at checkout. Database access, automatic alerts and custom consulting are not paid benefits in this release.
